A song for the last horseSourced
Last place still receives a wish
Naadam in Mongolia features horse racing, wrestling and archery. In the race for two-year-old horses, the last finisher receives a special name and a song wishing it luck as next year’s winner.
Finishing last need not end the story of encouragement.
