Two fans were removed from a ballparkSourced
An apology after two fans were ejected helped start a baseball tradition.
In 2000, security removed a lesbian couple from a Los Angeles Dodgers game for kissing. The club apologized. The following month, advocacy groups organized what is widely considered professional baseball's first Pride Night at Dodger Stadium.
A response to two fans became a wider public event.
