Waterslides shaped like eelsSourced
At a New Zealand pool complex, the slides took inspiration from eels.
The hydroslides at Christchurch's Parakiore Recreation and Sport Centre were designed to resemble eels in an eel pot. Made of fibreglass, they rise roughly 9 to 12 metres high. A local aquatic image became part of the building's playfulness.
There are eels above the pool, at least in the design.
