A chicken decides the bingo number
Fruita, Colorado, celebrates Mike, a chicken that survived for about eighteen months after losing most of its head. The festival began in 1999. Alongside egg tossing, chicken bingo uses droppings on a numbered grid.
Even the commemorative games have a distinctive character.
