Broomball players wear specialized shoes
Broomball takes place on ice, but players use specialized rubber-soled shoes rather than skates. They send a ball toward goals with broom-like sticks. Sharing an icy playing surface does not mean sharing hockey’s footwear.
An ice sport can keep blades out of the equipment.
