Underwater figures acquire changing surfaces
Jason deCaires Taylor has installed underwater sculptures in places including Grenada’s Molinere Bay. Marine organisms colonize the surfaces of figures cast from people. Instead of retaining only the appearance given by the sculptor, the works change through their surroundings.
The work keeps changing after installation.
