A brief flight, a huge drawingSourced

Tokyo became a ten-metre panorama from memory

In May 2005, Stephen Wiltshire drew a ten-metre panorama of Tokyo from memory after a brief helicopter flight. The drawing took seven days to complete. A short encounter with the skyline became a much longer process of putting it on paper.

The drawing session greatly outlasted the sightseeing.
