A rat king is a group with tangled tails
A rat king is a group of rodents whose tails are tangled together. A German museum holds a 32-rat specimen reportedly found in 1828. Some old specimens have raised questions about fabrication, while a living group was documented in Estonia in 2021.
The name describes an entanglement, rather than a ruler.
