A letter addressed simply to Terry Fox, Canada
In 1980, Terry Fox attempted a cross-Canada run on a prosthetic leg to raise money for cancer research. His illness forced him to stop, but supportive letters kept coming. One from the US reportedly arrived addressed only to Terry Fox, Canada.
His name did some of the postal work.
