Two legs for the journeySourced
Jerboas do not switch to front-leg walking at slow speeds
Jerboas have long hind legs and small forelegs. They move almost exclusively on two legs, rather than using the forelegs for slower walking. Their long tails help balance hopping. Four limbs on a mammal do not necessarily mean four limbs are used for locomotion.
The hind pair does the traveling.
