An opening loss, a league titleSourced
A corner kick went straight past him.
His team still won the league.
Czech goalkeeper Radim Novák conceded a goal directly from a corner in the opening match of the 2011–12 second-division season. Ústí nad Labem lost that game 3–1, but went on to win the league that season.
One bad opening match
did not decide the year.
