About 55 km of pipes carried the city’s documents
Prague’s pneumatic post opened to the public in 1889. Its underground network extended to roughly 55 km, carrying documents for offices, banks and media organizations. Operations stopped after the floods of 2002.
Beneath the streets, documents had routes of their own.
