Even the pets dress as aliensSourced
A UFO festival has hosted costume contests for pets.
McMinnville, Oregon, began its UFO festival in 2000 around the 50th anniversary of famous 1950 UFO photos. Its events have included alien parades, pet costumes, and an 'Alien Abduction Dash' 5K. The photos' authenticity remains disputed.
The object is debated; the costumes are real.
